Clothing Production in the fashion industry is stressful. It’s a known fact!

This part of the process requires constant monitoring - financially, logistically, with workflow, and in the maintenance of relationships. The process inevitably stalls at various stages, requiring quick thinking, calm heads and celebration of each obstacle overcome.

See below for some of my contributions :

“Lisa worked for me as my amazing pattern maker at Cue Clothing Company for 5 years and was a wonderful asset to the company and a beautiful person to work with. Lisa has such a strong work ethic and attention to detail, she always produced accurate and precise patterns and was quick to pick up design errors correcting them immediately. Lisa worked with myself and a small team on the offshore production, liaising with our factories in China and effectively communicating our designs and patterns with the offshore suppliers.

Lisa has a natural eye for shape, colour and design and I would not hesitate in recommending her for any design or pattern project as I know she will put her heart and soul into any work she does.”

- Amanda Commins, Cue Offshore Production Manager

“Lisa was an employee of Cue Clothing Company and was an important member of the team for 9 years. Lisa was employed on a full time basis and then part time after maternity leave in the capacity of Senior Patternmaker.

Lisa was responsible for Patternmaking for Initial samples, fittings, following through to production and QC for a busy Design Room with weekly deadlines. She worked closely with individual Designers, Patternmakers, Sample Machinists and Production for both Cue Local and Offshore product.

Due to her long history with the company she was a very important part of the team. She had great attention to detail and quality. She was a very loyal and trustworthy employee. Lisa was well presented and liked by all. She had a committed, positive personality and was passionate about her work. She was always keen to step up and help out as much as possible ensuring that everything continued to run smoothly. I wish Lisa well in her future. It was a pleasure to have her as part of our team.“

- Melinda Sammut, Cue Design Room Manager
