I earned the highest in the state for the course I completed, Fashion Design and Industry Practises Cert III. I followed up with Grading and Pattern Cutting, to further refine my grading and manual patternmaking skills.

I studied fashion later in life, at 30 years old. During this time I was asked to be on a judging panel and placed 1st and 2nd place in multiple competitions, the Flair Fashion Awards and Viva la Gong fashion competition among them.

Missing the challenge, later I entered into the Lions Club design competition and won the Supreme Winner Award, for my entry into the bridalwear category.
